Youth Energy Program in Partnership with Senator Gbenga B. Ashafa
(for Lagos East Senatorial District )

Join the next group of young men and women who will champion the aggressive Energy plan in Lagos State and ultimately will become asset to the nations developing power sector. This is your chance to be one the 10 graduates selected to take part in 6 month long program designed to equip participants with the technical know how in:
- Energy Auditing
- Energy Awareness
- Power Usage Patterns and Energy Databases
- Power Impact Assessments
- Independent Power Project Development

The Youth Energy Career program is sponsorded by Senator Gbenga B. Ashafa in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Lagos State Electricity Board (LSEB). The objective of this exercise is to effectively train and empower electrical energy/power operatives for employment in the Nigerian energy/power development market.
This program is unique because unlike most short term training program the participating graduates will be trained while in actual employment as ‘energy audit officers’ for a period of 6 months:

Requirements:
Applicants must be residents of Lagos East Senatorial District. This comprises (Ikorodu, Epe, Shomolu, Kosofe and Ibeju Lekki)

Academic Qualification:
First degree with a minimum grade of 2.2 qualifications in Sciences/Social Science from an accredited University or School of technology.
A degree in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
